Your tasks & responsibilites
We are currently looking for a new colleague (m/f/w) to join our US team. In this position you will play a pivotal role in supporting, consulting, and managing our customer’s needs and issues on-site in Sterling Heights. By acting as a single point of contact, you are making sure customer’s support cases are being resolved, routed correctly, and taken care of in a timely manner. To provide the highest quality support possible, prioritizing workloads and staying communicative to customer and colleagues is key to success.

You understand customer requirements and business objectives.
You provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
You manage IT service requests and incidents and collaborate with in-house technical staff.
You design IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality.
You support new technology implementation, revise existing systems and suggest improvements.
You train users in new and existing IT systems and provide assistance with technical issues.
Last but not least, you are responsible for creating reports.
Your profile
Proven experience (2 y) as an IT Consultant On-Site Support
Experience with various operating systems & databases
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software & network problems
Analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
Team player with excellent communication & presentation skills
Customer service orientation & interpersonal skills
Professional certification (Microsoft) is an advantage
Principle workplace at customer's site (Sterling Heights) and occasionally at other customers' sites or at the abilis office
Health Insurance completely covered
Working hours: 40h/week, non-exempt
Paid vacation days: 15 days plus company holidays (9 days)

What to expect
The position is office-based (at customer’s site in Sterling Heights ), where you will work as part of an IT support team. You will report to the local abilis IT Manager as well as to the abilis IT Director based in Germany.
